What better way to kill NPC than when you’re listening to your favorite music? Robobeat is out, and there’s a lot to unpack.
In case you didn’t know, the game puts you in the shoes of a bounty hunter tasked with shooting down rogue robots while going through crazy acrobatics and classic songs/beats.
This guide details everything you need to know about importing your songs into the game.
How to Make Custom Songs In Robobeat
Despite the feature only making an appearance towards the end of the beta phase, Robobeat now indeed has an option that lets you make custom songs. To do this:
STEP 1: Create a New Cassette
Launch the game, and you will find Custom Songs among a list of options on the Main Menu. Select it, and on the new window, click Create New Cassette.
Here, the window is split into two halves. In the first half, you get to input the track and artist name.
On the second half of the window, click Select File and choose the .mp3, .wav, or .ogg music file you already saved on your PC. Click Continue
STEP 2: Visuals
The game window will pop up again, and you will need to select the pattern and colour you see when that particular song is playing.
Play around with this, and when you are done, click Continue.
STEP 3: Edit Track
Step 3 is the last phase you need to complete. Here, you get to edit the track based on how long or short you want it to be. Do you want to jump straight into the fun part of the song, or do you enjoy the buildup? That’s all you need to decide in STEP 3.
Click Save, and you have successfully imported a Custom Song to Robobeat.
TIP: If you need help with tracks to import, check StreamBeats. You will find a library of exciting copyright-free beats and songs for all your moods.
