If you have played the new Destiny 2 Expansion you would have noticed something with the Guardian and Cayde cutscene, just before you can watch the cutscene, the game cuts it off, this might be due to servers or for other layers, no reason at all.

Meeting Cayde
After the big boss battle, you will hear someone playing a harmonica and when you go investigate you find out it’s Cayde. He explains how the Vanguard told him they would send their best.
The Witness
Cayde then explains that after he died, he was peaceful until he was pulled from the light into his new body.
He then talks about the Witness who is set to bring on the destruction of everything and he calls it ‘The Final Shape’. Cayde plans to stop this destruction of everything.
