Indie horror games can be very thrilling and immersive. Apart from the in-depth lore of these games, their replay value is often very high. Indigo Park follows this same template as you journey through a weird abandoned amusement park. With so many desolate locations to explore, it is very easy to miss most of the hidden mysteries in the Indigo Park World, even after several play-throughs.

In this guide, we have detailed 5 things you probably missed during your first run of Indigo Park. Without further ado, let’s get started.

Indigo Park: 5 Things You May Have Missed

The Cursed Statue

One of the things you will find while exploring the park is the stature of the park founder, Isaac Indigo, holding Rambley, the park AI’s hand.

Interestingly, this is a reference to a real-life statue of Walt Disney holding the hands of Mickey Mouse, which you will find in most Disney parks.

What you don’t know is that anywhere you go while close to Isaac Indigo’s statue, his head and eyes will follow you around.

Rambley isn’t all that trustworthy

Rambley used to be the park’s AI-powered tour guide who monitors every activity at the indigo park through the CCTV cameras.

Unfortunately, the park has been abandoned for 2920 days, meaning the AI has developed some bad peculiarities. Most times, it gives you bad information and experiences several glitches. It even shows bias towards some in-game characters like Lloyford L. Lion.

It also forgets to mention critical areas of the park you should watch out for and can be quite distracting.

Mollie is a stalker!

While Rambley calls Mollie a friend, she quickly goes from being a harmless mascot to a blood-thirsty scary monster.

And until she gets her head severed by a closing steel door, you pretty much have to run for your life, literally.

What you must have missed is that early in the game, there is a signboard of Mollie with the head broken off. A really good indicator of how she dies.

Aside from that, there are several times you can catch a glimpse of Mollie stalking you. You’ll generally miss her stalking you if you are too focused on what Rambley is saying.

She even appears during the train ride when Rambley says, “Hello Mollie”.

The Incident

It’s easy to say the park is abandoned. But what did you miss? The game leaves some interesting clues you only pick up after your first play-through.

The reason for the park being abandoned could be because one of the mascots injured/killed someone. Also, Indigo Park used to use humans dressed in costumes for their mascots before the living genetically modified mascots came in to replace them.

We will likely get more details on this theory in the sequel.

Tons of Easter eggs

The game also features many easter eggs that are easy to miss if you aren’t a hardcore fan of the title. We will go through a few of these:

  • The soda drinks reference the gamer tags of the game’s beta testers.
  • The café in the game is called Café de Raton Laveur, which is a tribute to racoons who wash their food before eating.
  • The ice cream flavour menu in the Café has Chocolate twice!
  • There is a locked photo room that will likely open in Chapter 2.
  • You can see the gear you need to repair the Indigo Violet Compact Power Generator hanging out of a broken ceiling!
